I am told that the general sentiment amongst the police is that they are being made into the "bad guys"

the law is both unrealistic in scope and deeply unpopular with the public

they have support from the city councils, which are also afraid of being attacked by BLM

the Woke chaos is spreading, inducing increasing levels of insubordination in the ranks

I chatted with the mayor of our town

he says the opinion of the city council is that the law is "unconstitutional"

I don't think it actually is, a State of Emergency grants the legislature broad powers

none the less the Chief of Police has issued a statement

they will only be responding to complaints, otherwise they will not be stopping people on the streets

this is definitely out of the ordinary, but not totally unprecedented

the police adopt this position against the Indians as well

they will selectively enforce the law to avoid the Woke mob

all it took was one politician to call the law racist, and every police force in the province broke & ran

inverse to the general state of disorder, I actually have more police presence than usual here

they are using the plaza at the end of my street as a stand by location

so there is a cop posted on my street pretty much round the clock
