Re: Dark Days Ahead
within the arc of American history there are revolutions, but they were not wars
the overthrow of Reconstruction by the imposition of Jim Crow, Civil Rights in counterrevolution
the Progressive revolution against the Robber Barons in the Gilded age, now the Robber Barons are back
the Second Great Awakening to Temperance imposing Prohibition, then overthrown by repeal
the Antiwar Movement during the Vietnam War, then the Post Cold War End of History

Re: Dark Days Ahead
which bring us to the Woke
The March Through the Institutions
this is what a revolution is, this is how revolutions go
how are you enjoying it so far ?
surely George Washington would not put up with this for one second
pretty sure George Washington would be counterrevolutionary to postmodernism
Washington was conservative of land owning self government & the Enlightenment
when the British tried to overthrow that in America, he put that radical departure down by force of arms
there was no mass uprising, the masses were mostly sheep then as they are now
the British were even sort of Woke about things, they sided with the Indians against the settlers
the British were preventing the whites from settling the Ohio valley, that's when Washington made his move

rich guy from New York playing the role of the populist man of the people
Bull Moose against the Robber Barons of Silicon Valley
America ruthlessly pursuing its own interests as in the Spanish-American War
it was overthrown by the Woodrow Wilson Globalists, just like the first time around

Re: Dark Days Ahead
it's the Roaring Twenties all over again
this time the Temperance Lady is Woke,
the Prohibition is on speech instead of liquor
but this is the Great Awokening coming home to roost with a Volstead Act in effect
we are here in a Speakeasy right now
Wilsonian Globalists, Silicon Valley Robber Barons & the Woke Temperance Lady, all in league together

Re: Dark Days Ahead
Prohibition was used in the exact same way
liquor was just a proxy
really it was about cracking down on populism
the whole point of Prohibition was reputational destruction
they could criminalize people selectively, based on something everybody was doing
if you played along with the establishment, your Speakeasy wouldn't get raided
if you didn't pay them off tho, they could subject you to mass incarceration

Re: Dark Days Ahead
the effect of Prohibition was the same
it incited ever expanding chaos
it criminalized the whole population overnight
the previously bourgeois were suddenly radicalized by default
Warren G. Harding was a covfefe rule breaker President
he fucked any young broad he pleased, grabbed them right in the pussy
on the streets, the gangsters became folk heroes
