Nah but I've listened to a few interviews and generally like him. His audiobook flows a little hectic from what ive sampled.

I haven't either, I just was listening to Malice who said he just did a podcast with Jordan Peterson. I subscribed to listen to it and saw that JP interviewed McConaughey and they talked about a book he just wrote. Anyway, yeah he seems like a good guy, a little cosmic oatmeal cookie maybe, but whatever.GloryofGreece wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 9:34 pmNah but I've listened to a few interviews and generally like him. I like those guys and a few other actors i.e. Woody Harrelson, Mel Gibson, Vince Vaughn, Sean Connery etc. there's a few and he's one of them. Anyway his new schtick has a little bit of a gimmicky feel to it. Good for him I guess, but I'm curious how that'll playout for him.doc_loliday wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 10:03 pmI haven't either, I just was listening to Malice who said he just did a podcast with Jordan Peterson. Listening to your True Detectives podcast and it got me to rewatch season 1. Just because both are fresh in my mind, you guys didn't discuss the fact that the whole thing starts off on Rust's daughters birthday. That bit of foreshadowing seems to give context to the dark ambiance of the show.
Good stuff though, I am enjoying your content.
