all Hegemons have an arc, but they are not murdered, they commit suicide in the end
Not if they become the Phoenix.
provide an example of an Hegenomy rising from its own ashes, I can't think of one

Egypt was never an Hegemony

Hegenomy is a Western construct in of itself, from the Greeks

Egypt was part of the Greco-Roman hegenomies

bear in mind, an Hegenom is always a seapower

Hegenomy flows from the sea, so land powers have never been Hegemons

an Hegenomy imposes both an economy & a culture

so for example, the Romans did not became Ancient Egyptians, the Ancient Egyptians became Romans

Now that’s just silliness. Egypt is thousands of years older than the Greeks. They built pyramids while Greeks were scratching on cave walls.

They were the original superpower.

an Hegenomy refers to an empire of the sea

a Superpower is a global seapower

in Ancient terms this meant dominance of the Mediterranean World

Egypt was never an empire, merely a monarchy, they did not extend beyond the banks of the Nile

the Ancient Hegemons were Greece, then Carthage, then Rome

but actually all three were Greek Hegemons culturally

moving out of the Ancient into the modern

we are in the fourth modern Hegemony

the first global seapower was Spain

then France

then Britain

now America

the first global war was the War of Spanish Succession

the last global war was a war of British succession

Pax Americana has ruled ever since

Hegenomy is a construct of the Western World itself

the Ancient Greeks said that peoples to their west were like them, that was the Occidentals

people to their east were different from them, that was the Orientals

to dominate the Occidental world by way of controlling the Mediterranean Sea, was an Hegenomy
