I went dancing the last 2 nights with some other couples. Even though they're all loving relationships, in the voting booth, these women will vote for women's interests over their husband's. (My wife not included.) They all know about my achievements and political savvy but none will ask my opinion, nor would they follow it if I offered one because their goals are "the future is female."

I don't subscribe to the cult of democracy, thus I don't see voting as a change agent

The democracy fetish is easy to explain: it's how the weak overcame the strong.
