I hesitate to call it Fascism. I wouldn't insult Il Duce like that. At least with 20th Century Fascism, you had a functioning state and law and order.

What it is, is an oligarchic grifter class (Establishment Dems/Neo-Cons/Corporate Oligarchs) who use racial and class animus to brainwash mid-level IQ proles into voting for them. The Oligarchic grifter class steals the wealth from the middle class and hoards it for themselves, and use the lumpenproletariat (LGBT, Poor Blacks, etc.) as foot soldiers to enforce their mandate. They tell the mid-level IQ proles that all of this is ok, because racism. The mid-level IQ proles then feel guilty, and in order to absolve their guilt, they support the people telling them they're racist. Rinse and repeat until you've vampire'd the whole country, and then you retire to your villa with your private security while gangs roam the urban areas with improvised weaponry. It's a slow process.

This is just African political strategy on display in a first world nation. The machetes would have come out by now if America was less civilized. As it is now, we're slowly walking down the civilizational stairway. At the bottom are establishment foot soldiers with machetes.

There are a lot of elements going on in the US right now. Some resemble Communism, Fascism even the Mexican cartel model. But theres a very good reason why we should use Fascism to describe it........ Mass understanding that it is evil.

Using Communism only gives us a warm feeling, well to the modern left who grew up idolizing the fantasy of Communism that is an honor. But use Fascism and walk through the list of similarities and it may make them uncomfortable.

Central Planning
One racial group blamed for the ills of society
Silencing of opponents, etc.

These are quick jabs that can be worked into memes, posts, and conversations.

Malice is absolutely right, but we have to start thinking of how we convey a message that is universal.

You're running up against a massive, well-oiled, AI-augmented, troll farm employing, consolidated MSM abetting, dark money NGO-funded, big tech condoned propaganda machine here that is running at 50,000 RPM 24/7/365.

I'm just thinking like a dissident. I can't do anything about their lock on the system. But I can compare it to Fascism and and try to move one person at a time. The totalitarian markers work for Socialism or Fascism, as you pointed out earlier, they are all Collectivists.

My point being, people understand Fascism is evil, and will be able to see the similarities in their daily lives. I'm not thinking about today, 6 months or the next election. I'm thinking long term.

The core problem is that capitalism has run out of steam. It no longer produces enough growth to make life better for a majority of people. They don't have to realize it yet. To profit you need to run some sort of scam. The most popular right now seems to be privatizing profits and socializing losses. If you look into "innovation" from Silicon Valley it's at the bottom of every plan.
Another one is the entitlement scam. Convincing others that you have a right to stuff you didn't earn just because of who you are.
There is no master plan or secret cabal. It's just people trying to do the best for themselves. The problem is that to most people honest work is not the most viable option. It's End-of-Empire days. Try to anticipate what is coming down the road and adjust your position accordingly.
Conspiracy theories are for some men like Astrology is for women. It's just a way to exploit an inability to differentiate between correlation and causation and confirmation bias.
