It was pretty good I guess. I remembered why I stopped listening to Bret. He gets guest that he agree with on almost everything and get them to confirm his position. They are often very clever at diagnosing the problems of our time but when it comes to solutions they become like some puerile pseudo-intellectual lefties with highfalutin theories about changing the world. People like him must stop trying to be some kind of social engineers and just get with the times. Try to predict what's coming instead because whether it will be you won't be able to influence it much.

True enough. His solution over the past few years was to propose the creation of a third-party for moderates. He went so far as formally proposing the idea to politicians and got a small amount of momentum behind the idea. Then he was banned from social media for Dangerous Ideas.

I think it was valuable as a deep discussion of where we are, and the game theory behind it. The prediction was pretty obvious - that the US elites will move to a China model and one-world government because the alternative is to grant China leadership, or accept Collapse.

But if you were expecting a podcast discussion to come up with a personal action plan to save the world, your hopes may have been misplaced.

Like Bret admits it will take three generations for it to become universal, but that is not a reason for the vanguard to wait.

What do you have in mind? Because the current plan appears to be global government and censorship. I don’t see how that changes anything soon.

It would take ideologs of the "most liberty to most people" model that are also exorbitantly wealthy. Unfortunately, exorbitantly wealthy people who believe in liberty follow the "most liberty to the king" model.

Assuming I had the fame of Elon Musk, I'd find exorbitantly wealthy liberty people and convert them, then I'd create a hedge fund and get majority ownership in the MSM, then I'd pursue a propaganda campaign for school vouchers, then I'd green light movies, actors & talk shows that had my ideology, then I'd finance the campaigns of Libertyists like me... Just like The Left did. Same plan, other side.

There was a hidden camera video I saw with a Hollywood insider talking about how they greenlight conservative movies (Christian movies in this case), because they make a ton of money without having a very large budget. They then use that money to fund movies that aren't as successful, but have the messaging that they want (LGBT, Socialism, etc.). They then try and slide those messages into the Christian movies by offering financial incentives. It's all very devious.
