Here's the best in the business of protests, civil wars and insurgency reporting telling us what really happened at the Capital.

Well c'mon, he's taking about how "crazy" it is to be talking about locking conservatives in concentration camps... And meanwhile we have democrat politicians and media talking about making "lists", calling to cancel senators and house members, a lawyer from PBS talking about re-education camps....SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 9:26 pmI already know the reaction around here, but a new episode is out today.
...this is not one side. If the Dems weren't playing the same blame game and we're condemning "their own" for saying this stuff it might de-escalate things, but they're not.

They did fire that lawyer from PBS that said it.
But the fact remains that some people are still floating the idea.
I actually loved the second half of it. Very reasonable and well said.

His points at the end about coming back from the brink were pretty good. I agree that nobody really wants to take this to the extreme.

Oh, I donno; I bet there's 10 million or so people of the 70+ million who voted for Trump who want it to blow. It's going to blow anyway during The Collapse.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Thu Jan 14, 2021 2:03 pmHis points at the end about coming back from the brink were pretty good. Trump is perma-banned across social media, his bank accounts are closed, major internet entities deplatforming right wing voices, financial institutions blacklisting right wing voices and platforms, national media framing an unruly protest as an armed coup so Joe Biden can pass domestic anti-terrorism laws against the political right, National Guard camped out at the Capitol ....
