imagine if democrats were acting responsibly and prudently during this final week instead of flailing around trying to remove trump from office when he will literally be gone in 7 days

No dude - this is the DC elites sticking a knife in Trump and his base so they don’t come back.
The Turtle wants Trumpism gone so he can go back to business.

I don't think they can just go back to business. Trump got 75 million legitimate votes. Lots of people went "woke" in 2020, but not in the way liberals hoped. That doesn't just go away. Every radical step they (meaning the left, Antifa, BLM, swamp) take towards communism/fascism adds to the amount of resistance they will be shown. The GOP has already lost my vote....likely for the rest of my lifetime. If they want back to normal, that means the GOP as the subservient minority to the Democrats growing majority forever.
I don't know what victory for our side looks like or exactly how we get there. I'm going day by day, watching what is happening and resisting how I can without making my situation worse. We've already seen how any slight misstep will be met with a large boot from overhead.
Everything they do and say is a lie and full of hypocrisy.
