I clarify my position by saying “modern day” life. Many people still have the skills to stand in the field all day, hunt game, sleep on dirt, get drunk & fuck.

Yup. My kids started hunting young and started hunting big game at age 9. One of my boys got a 6 point Whitetail when he was nine. I’m a “white” collar worker but I’ve been hunting and fishing my whole life. We also grow our own vegetables and we have a ten apple trees and 6 peach (we only get peaches if we had a mild winter here in Ohio) We eat what we kill and we eat what we grow. Not exclusively but we could if we have to. Hell I’m getting up at 3am tomorrow to go duck hunting. We’ll get a couple but we won’t bag out. This water fowl season sucks. It’s not cool enough for migration which blows because there are tons of ducks in Ohio this time of year....normally. What most people don’t realize is that ducks only travel as far as they need, which for most ducks is the freeze line. Sorry I just went off on a tangent.Martin Hash wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 2:34 pmI clarify my position by saying “modern day” life. Well...that’s the end of the Republic. It’s official, your vote doesn’t count anymore. I will never vote again.

So is it thrown out, or is there an iota of hope?SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 4:58 pmWell, that’s that then. SCOTUS balked.

Justices Clarence Thomas joined Alito in stating that they do not believe the court has the authority to outright reject Texas's request, writing instead "I would therefore grant the motion to file the bill of complaint but would not grant other relief, and I express no view on any other issue."

Not really, there are three cases going on, each in a separate state, GA, WI, and AZ. Trump needs all three but then that ties the electoral college at 269 each. Basically being down by 21 with 40 seconds to go in a football game. The Conservative wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 5:19 pmSo is it thrown out, or is there an iota of hope?SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 4:58 pmWell, that’s that then.
