I've always felt the most underrated alignment is lawful neutral.

Everybody wants to be a wildcard, but, as a good friend of mine once remarked, the reason Star Wars is (was) fun and Firelfly sucks is because you can't have a whole ship of Han Solos.

I was talking about this forum to my wife & son today. Where would you get your information if not from here? The MSM, Social Media & Tech platforms are heavily censored, and the Alt-Tech sites are impossible to find anything on. I can’t even name another Old School forum like this.

It is a good question.

I seemed like a prescient genius in two election cycles simply for telling the people around me that Trump had a good chance of winning. I am neither prescient or a genius, but I had the distinct advantage of knowing that there were intelligent people that had good reasons to support Trump, even if I disagreed with them.

Most people can't tolerate the idea that people they disagree with aren't either dishonest villains or idiots. I take it as faint praise that I am mostly accused of the former.

I can’t name one Trump fanboy who posts here, and I run a FB Trump fan-page! We like what Trump does, and that he pisses off the people that piss us off. I’ve never read a Trump tweet or listened to a Trump speech, or even seen him on TV longer than a minute. I was a Democrat before they went Commie, and I’ve never been a Republican. Hell, I ran for the U.S. House as a “nonpartisan.”

Trump is the most chaotic president I can imagine. Most people like him because he introduces chaos into a system they consider sclerotic or downright evil.

I don't see how that is lawful neutral - seems more like chaotic good (or evil, depending on where you stand, I guess, I could never wrap my head around the good/evil distinction).

I don't think anyone likes Trump all that much. I think people really, really dislike everything else .

I am not in conflict with elites or the swamp. If their goal is to maintain the status quo, our interests are aligned, since I have been able to thrive without much effort or skill under the status quo.

I am not in conflict with elites or the swamp. If their goal is to maintain the status quo, our interests are aligned, since I have been able to thrive without much effort or skill under the status quo.

Complacency is indeed your defining character trait. Egalitarianism is attractive to the least ambitious among us. I’ve always contended that if you simply admitted to yourself and us this obvious truth, I could accept the logic of your debates. Marxists speak in Oral Illusions and you are certainly known for it.
