people loose themselves in the virtual reality for years, life passing them by

I just avoid that by leaving for extended periods of time

and only generating content, not searching for friends

you have to keep that firewall between the virtual and the real

that doesn't mean you can't come over for a dinner party if you are in the neighborhood

like I say, me, Trek & Strangelove were the main content providers

you asked me to come to your forum to keep the DCF thing going

I came along because without Smitty-48, it's not really very DCF like,

I was the biggest troll there

long before everybody else turned on him, I took Dan Carlin down

but he thought we were friends, I thought it was an arena and he wanted to battle me

I didn't mean to hurt his feelings,

I thought I was helping him, because everybody was coming to his forum to watch the show

by then I had already smashed so many people on the internet, I was bored with it

I just switched to lectures & poetry, let the fng's have flame wars, been there done that

if someone messed with me, I put them in their place

I don't treat the DCF with any reverence

that was years ago now, of course I'm a different guy now, never said I wasn't

it was just the first place I went on the internet, at random, what is a "forum" ? Let's find out

I didn't listen to Dan Carlin's podcast, I never listened to a single HH, and skipped most CS as well

I just met this other vet, named DBTrek, and started sparring with him

then Dan Carlin chimed in and started sparring with me

Carlin was friendly, chatted with me in the PMs, said he liked my content on the forum

so I decided to stick around and hang out, indefinite engagement

that was the only place I went on the internet, I didn't do any other social media,

I wasn't raised on the internet, it wasn't Facebook

it just became an arena, where would fight the battle of ideas & catballs
