I respect them for Assassin's Creed for the historical aspect of it, but that is about it.

The first one was pretty great. The second was ok, after that it went straight off a cliff.

Yeah, I would say everything up to the American Revolution was good. That setting just didn't fit the gameplay style. I haven't played any since. I am curious about the new one Valhalla since I'm a big Viking/Norse Mythology fan.
