You keep pushing money printing as a solution to budget issues. I’ve chalked it up to trolling so far, but I’m really starting to wonder if you believe currency debasement is an answer.

The more you debase the currency, the more you wear away the thin strand that holds back the pitchforks.

Capitalism appears to be destroying itself. Trump is in command of the treasury - and theoretically - the Fed. You can’t get any less capitalist than debasing your currency in the face of a bad flu season. Or measuring the health of the economy by the S&P 500.

There’s no ‘right side’ to choose from. All of the options to vote or protest or boycott anything other than the central bank lead to the same inevitable conclusion.

I doubt it was a competently executed conspiracy. If the state was competent enough to do that, then relying on it for everything else would be a less alarming prospect.
