Bwhahahah! *ahem*

I know a few people, they were willing to let some of their ammo go. I'm no prepper compared to them, but when they had 5,000 rounds of various calibers, they were willing to let some go for a premium cost.

It's actually a good thing ammo is in short supply for the moment. More people buying guns who wouldn't have otherwise, and more people buying ammo. More 2nd amendment supporters.

Sorry. Not everyone has contacts with black market arms dealers and Vietnam vets with hoards of ammunition they're just willing to give away. I had nothing to do with inventing the internet, so my contacts with off-the-grid types are limited, unfortunately.

Not Vietnam-Vets. Gulf war vets I grew up with.

We don't need to shoot a lot, the people here are sheep. Police are called on you if you have anything more than a box it seems around here, they want to keep you on a short leash.

Before the house sale fell through, I was looking at getting a few barrels of ammo.

Yeah, it pops up and goes away quickly. They will put 100k rounds up for sailing one morning and it will be gone in a couple hours. I'm sitting OK, I'd like to have a few thousand more of certain cartridges, but I'll be ok.

If I run out of the ammo I have, I'll just have to take it off the dead bodies in front of me. One thing I learned about war from shithole countries, ammo is rarely in short supply. It's common to see cases of ammo laying alongside the road in a war torn country.
