Nice!
I've been looking for a mobile bar for my collection but have not found anything yet. We have an old Victrola in the shed and I've often thought of removing the inards and turning it into my bar.
For now my collection is on the top shelf of my closet.

Dude, do the Victrola conversion; it would be so cool. (Unless you can make the Victrola actually work then that’s cool too.)AverageJoe wrote: ↑Sat Aug 08, 2020 5:09 pmMartin Hash wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2020 12:18 pmThis is what I got for my birthday. (Now I can receive Social Security.)

I love whiskey. All kinds, rye, bourbon, whatever. Scotch is an acquired taste tho.

Oh I'm sure it works. We don't really ahve any music to paly on it and honestly it would serve better as the whisky cart now. One idea I had was to keep the horn assembles and insert a small bluetooth speaker inside the horn and see what that sounded like. I'll let you know what we decide to do with it. It will be a bit though, we are in the middle of a whole home renovation.Martin Hash wrote: ↑Sat Aug 08, 2020 5:11 pmDude, do the Victrola conversion; it would be so cool. I started with scotch so I favor it over bourbon (which I'm currently drinking) and rye. I actually have a hard time drinking the US "standard" whiskey like JB and JD but still have bottles in my collection.

I'm a Canadian Blended guy. Crown, Gibson, etc. I'll drink Beam occasionally, because it was a favorite of my grandpa. There are some great bourbons our there, like Blantons single barrel.AverageJoe wrote: ↑Sat Aug 08, 2020 5:30 pm

Scotch though. Just haven't been able to get a taste for it. I will say this. Just about any superior spirit is enjoyable. Even high end tequila can be enjoyed.
