This was a particularly bad tick season where I live.

I am always really concerned with using the heavy-duty flea and tick medicines on my puppers since they can have some pretty nasty side effects on her liver and kidneys. But, ticks also carry dangerous pathogens - so I am forced into an unpleasant risk assessment. Since I love my dog, I don't relish the choice.

It would seem that there are some people who would say, depending on my choice, that I am either pro-tick or pro-damaging-my-dogs-organs. Really, I am ultimately concerned with my dogs health - but it isn't always 100% obvious how to secure it.

Here is what's going on in Portland. Commies, laying in wait to ambush Marshals with a deadly weapon at 1 AM.

Jacob Michael Gaines, 23, a Texas man currently residing in a recreational vehicle in Portland, has been charged by criminal complaint with one count of assaulting a federal officer.

According to court documents, at approximately 1:00am on July 11, 2020, Gaines was observed using a hammer to damage a barricaded entrance at the Hatfield Federal Courthouse. At the time, federal law enforcement personnel were staged inside the courthouse to protect the facility and respond to incidents. Law enforcement attempted to exit the courthouse to prevent Gaines from breaching the barricaded entrance.

Federal Agents - identified as "Police" - are operating in unmarked vehicles in American cities. Not the FBI. "Police". For "Officer Safety".

- Not patrolling the streets, but "protecting federal property" and enforcing "federal crimes"
- "We aren't going to let them go when they walk off of federal property" - Indicating some manner of restriction that he's decided to throw away for "officer safety".

You've got a couple things here you are blurring into one big Orange man Tyrant tirade.

A. Federal authorities going to the Midwest
- You're own referenced links don't support the claim that these officers are stasi. The link says they are working on the one hundred +/- murders that occurred in the wake of George Floyd violence.
- Question, do Lefties even care about those 100 people murdered in defense of George Floyd ?

B. Portland Siege
- The Federal Courthouse in Portland is under siege. It's the Pusan Perimeter. Commies everywhere.
- The US Marshals are tasked with protecting more than 2,700 judges, as well as 30,000 federal prosecutors and other court officials.
- This is no secret, it's Federal Policy.

Where did this game plan come from. It came from US Military Insurgency/Counter Insurgency warfare doctrine. Likely hatched by former US military officers who are collaborating with the Commies. Part of that doctrine says that you don't employ force in an area where the Insurgents have wide support. The doctrine states that using force will resort in people moving to the insurgents side. This is the goal.

But what if the Commie Officers that built this strategery were wrong ? What if they assumed that even Portland, the Reddest of Commie strongholds in America, didn't have the support they assumed outside the Pacific Coastal region, Oregon, Mutnomah County or even downtown Portland ?

I doubt there is anyone here that cares more about the Xth Amendment than me. I've talked about it for years.

I don't see a Xth Amendment violation when local officials are not upholding the Civil Rights of it's citizens. This isn't the first time.
