Often in my podcasts & writings, I mention people's only Natural Right, the Right to Violence; the ultimate right all others are subservient to. Portland rioters are exercising their Right to Violence, and they will win, because it's an individual right, and no other individuals are resisting.

Often in my podcasts & writings, I mention people's only Natural Right, the Right to Violence; the ultimate right all others are subservient to. Portland rioters are exercising their Right to Violence, and they will win, because it's an individual right, and no other individuals are resisting.

I've tried explaining this to people who insist upon invoking "natural rights" as a way to defend freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, etc. Rights are conferred on to the citizens by the state. In order to change what "rights" a citizen has, they can either vote against the current paradigm (a fool's errand, imo) or they have to physically fight so that their own interests are represented.

The important point is that only individuals can resist individuals when the Right to Violence is invoked. Federal troops holed up in a building against a crowd of individuals, have no chance.

I will say, as someone who experienced the late 1960s, that the violence now is greater than it was then. If we just have an assassination or two, especially if it's Trump; there would be no question.
