Left Wins Battle to Re-Define “Racism”

Florissant woman helps change Merriam Webster's definition of racism

... While thousands of people have taken to the street to protest, Kennedy Mitchum, who recently graduated with a degree in law, politics and society, took to email.

She said it all started when people would argue with her about the definition of racism and she realized the problem was in the pages of Merriam Webster’s dictionary.

“With everything going on, I think it’s important everyone is on the same page," said Mitchum.

The dictionary defines racism as "a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race."

Mitchum said that definition was too simple and too surface level.

"So, a couple weeks ago, I said this is the last argument I'm going to have about this. I know what racism is, I've experienced it time and time and time again in a lot of different ways, so enough is enough. So, I emailed them about how I felt about it. Saying this needs to change," she said...

... Alex Chambers, the editor of Merriam Webster Dictionary said a revision to the entry for "racism" is now being drafted. . .

Guess who will remain eligible to be racists and who won’t.

You knew it would always come to this didn't you ? Words are only constructions and nominal hence at best they only can be properly be used in a " real world" sense like the article says hahah. Its about practicality you know ? What a load of shit . This is the consequence of nominalism with deconstruction.

This isn't a symptom of nominalism with deconstruction. This has been a long standing practice by dictionaries due to the nature of language itself. Languages are never set in stone, they are constantly changing and evolving. It wasn't long ago that the word 'gay' simply meant happy. Now it is almost exclusively used as a term for homosexuals. Languages change, and most dictionaries are updated on a yearly basis to reflect this change.

We need to split - badly. Draw the lines and let the commies and non-commies split off.

I don't think you get what I meant probably because I didn't explain it further. Languages change but Truth doesn't. So concept "racist" is a real thing but it isn't an every changing term. And this changing of the "definition" doesn't change what racism means. This has been done with "man" and "women" somewhat recently and other forms. Cheers! Im glad you chose my post to respond. Now I will wait a year to see what you post next lol. God speed.
