I thought I might be a Priest. Give me a break, I'm a failed philosopher/theologian. I did mess with folks , never thought I'd really need one. Another reason to stay away from social media and why I will visit FB even less than I already do.......people saying I am as bad as the murdering cops if I don't join them in protesting.

My kids have friends that have this attitude. If anyone even says that not all cops are bad, that person is being unfriended told they are just as bad as a murdering cop. These are teenagers with this level of hatred that they are will to drop friendships they have had since preschool simply because the other person has a different viewpoint. Even agreeing that the cops that killed George Floyd should be in jail isn't enough. They must swear total allegiance to hating all cops, otherwise they are their enemy.

These people will not stop until you are either in complete agreement or dead. This is the kind of thing the US used to fight wars against, and now we are actively doing it to ourselves.

Every day I back off the grid a little more, especially online.

This might end with some sort of "equity" bill where all black people will be guaranteed 13% of the USA GDP b/c that is what percentage they are of the country. What defines black.
