I live in the center of a medium-sized town... if it starts affecting people in the smaller towns and regions, the states are going to have to stop sitting on their asses and do something about it... I will not sit idly by waiting for my place to get firebombed because it's right next to a lawfirm...

If you disband police departments there will be community posses and militias. Its that simple. And there will be more vigilante and feud violence. Will that be better than the status quo idk but we might find out during this summer of rage.
