I hope when you get it , you don't suffer too much. May you never have the fate to not see the ones you love die absent your presence. Its a helluva thing. Its a horrible thing actually.
As Many as 50 Percent of People with COVID-19 Aren’t Aware They Have the Virus

There may be a lot of people walking around who have COVID-19 but have no idea they are spreading the virus.

The first word of this possibility came in early April from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) director, Dr. Robert Redfield, in an interview with National Public Radio affiliate WABE.

“One of the [pieces of] information that we have confirmed now is that a significant number of individuals that are infected actually remain asymptomatic. That may be as many as 25 percent,” Redfield said.

Then a few days later, researchers in Iceland reported that 50 percent of their novel coronavirus cases who tested positive had no symptoms. The testing had been conducted by deCODE, a subsidiary of the U.S. Biotech company Amgen....

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So that means everyone there must have lung problems, are dying of some other issue now and must be on the government tit like StA for the rest of their lives, right?

Seems like the current analysis is that if you catch it, there's a 50% chance you'll never even know.
If you do catch it, and show symptoms, there's a 1.3% chance you'll die.

Death probability higher in the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions.
You mean something I showed way back here?

The Head of Forensic Pathology in Hamberg, Germany has something interesting to say.

Translated into English wrote: "All of those we have examined so far have had cancer, a chronic lung disease, were heavy smokers or heavily obese, suffered from diabetes or had a cardiovascular disease." The virus was the last drop, so to speak, that was the keg Overflow brought. "We had - nobody knows yet - the first 100-year-old who died of Covid-19." Was it the last drop? "The very last one," said Püschel.

Püschel wants to calm the population down. "By focusing strongly on the rather few negative processes, fears are created that are very burdensome," says the legal doctor. There is no reason for fear of death in connection with the spread of the disease here in the Hamburg region, he says. “Covid-19 is a deadly disease only in exceptional cases, but in most cases it is a mostly harmless virus infection.

Ok, now someone come out of your bunker and tell me how he's just an idiot Trump supporter.
So, my statement of treat it like the flu is not wrong.
Why does COVID-19 has to be like something? Can't we assess it on its own characteristics?
It's pretty bad for those who gets a bad case. Sometimes lethal. It takes a lot of resources because we haven't quite figured out how to treat it yet.
Let's just try to flatten the curve and protect the weak.

If I say that rubella is just like measles, in what way have I brought the discussion forwards?

Foundation is common cold - there won’t be a true vaccine.

Covid 19 seems To be problematic only for those with compromised immune systems - which seems to account for killing diabetics, cancer patients and survivors, the elderly, and the occasional one off “healthy” sub 50 year old. Apparently CA hospitals have found that treating and mitigation inflammation in very early stages of covid 19 cases has a 98% percent success rate.
