Dude, stop. I already proved the lie of the Lysol hoax. Hoaxing the president relentlessly then complaining he has no credibility is disingenuous. Bush Jr. was stupider and did measurable damage to the world but he’s wasn’t hoaxed.
Yes, Trump is treated unfairly. My point was that even his supporters have been 'not taking him literally' for a long time, and that is not going to work anymore.
I don't think that people have been saying, "Don't take him literally" in that they're saying nothing he says can be taken literally. It's just that Trump could say, "It's raining cats and dogs," and the media would say, "TRUMP WANTS YOUR PETS TO FALL OUT OF THE SKY AND DIE."
I am sure that is a part of it, but early pro-Trump commentary often involved taking one of his exaggerations and saying "the numbers are off (sometimes by quite a lot), but if you don't take them literally, the meaning behind the details are true."
That is fine when the stakes are fairly trivial, but that is no longer the case.
HAIL!
Her needs America so they won't just take his shit away like in some pussy non gun totting countries can happen.

Without parsing every part of that timeline, I agree. He was following the lead of experts.
Yeah
Maybe he shouldn't have and that's where he's wrong.
But remember, Trump just went through impeachment for not following the Experts 100 %
WTF would you do
I would have done much the same as Trump, but spent more time trying to clearly explain the dangers and benefits of my recommendations, instead of trying to pat myself on the back.

Your nice.
By now I would have strictly Quarantined problem areas like NYC. And I would have shutdown all mass transit

Dare you speak outside the echo chamber?
You don't understand what that term means, do you? IN order for this to be an echo chamber, pretty much everyone else would have to be agreeing with Martin. Seems like he is in the minority here.
