Not being famous doesn’t mean absolute obscurity. I’ve been tiny semi-famous (mentioned in 5 magazines in a single month, offered free blowjobs by attractive women, given my autograph). I’ve discovered the other 18 people who have the doctorate trifecta; I’ve looked up other multiple license-holders; I’ve done the Hollywood thing and been to Cannes; I’m part of the 100+ countries visited cadre; if there were budding unknown Metas out there, I’d have caught a glimpse.
You might have, but imagine: there may be metas you have encountered, but their lack of fame makes it easy to dismiss them. Your meta abilities might not make you the absolute best judge of character.
They would seem mildly interesting, but not Meta, because what ever the Meta ability that attends fame acts as a dampening field around incredible people who aren't famous. There are superbly talented people that live and die in obscurity every day because peoples' cognitive space is filled to capacity with charm.

If it is any consolation, if 'Meta' is a thing, you probably are one. But... you will never be as famous as a Charm-Meta...

Too honest.
Meta powers are certainly unique, and Trump's Meta, or Musk's Meta, aren't mine. I'm a Renaissance Myn-style Meta, maybe the only one in the world. Back when I was a young man, I received some notoriety for my abilities but it was before all the accomplishments, I was just a potential Renaissance Myn. I was surprised & disappointed that when I finally achieved Mynhood, that nobody gave a shit. I thought it was because I was "old," but it turned out to be the egalitarian times we live in, and the Identity Politics that demonizes and diminishes the achievements of old White males, combined with the Internet's ability to make everyone think they know everything. (Though "knowing" things is only a tiny part of Mynhood - it's doing things.)

One of the reasons I support this forum is it was here that those realizations came, and I could talk about it with someone, even if two-thirds of the time I was being ridiculed. DB, specifically, identified the Google aspect of the problem; but just having a place to post my discoveries, like finding out the importance of fame, and my quest to achieve it, also have a lot of value. For example, I use the 90-9-1 argument all the time now to describe the situation that I must overcome.

I should be such a buffoon.

Trump is a Meta, either that or there IS a god who watches over him. He’s Elon Musk-level Meta. I like to think I’m at that level but I’m not famous, and I can’t tell if fame accompanies Metas naturally, or fame just makes it so I hear about them? If the latter were the case, you’d think I’d hear about an occasional Meta-worthy person who isn’t famous? So far, nada.
Trump understands Kayfabe. That is one thing that sets him apart.

How did you ever hear of that word? It seems very apropos.
Eric Weinstein talked about it on his last appearance on Joe Rogan.

You can skip to 1:01:06 if you want that part. I recommend a listen.

Meh, I am sure you could too. That you haven't yet, going on 4 years, is quite telling.
Haven't found any video clip in which he appears to be a normal human being, and relates to another human being in a genuine manner.

How do you google "Trump makes a joke like a normal person"?
Solid. But would you count that as a 'joke'?

I think he meant it seriously. He's just a slimy fuck.

I took it as Meta-level insightful. “Yep,” I thought. Sex has nothing to do with it.

I'll concede that he's right. You can do anything to a gold digger when you're rich. But does that strike you as someone that you admire or would want to be around?

That's a question I'd entertain if I found myself hanging out with US Presidents a lot.
So . . . I haven't wasted much time on it.

Well, then I'm pretty mystified by your concept of a 'representative' in government.

I"m sure you are.
I wish I could say that I was mystified that you conflate "most amiable" with "most capable" and approach each election like "Would I knock a few beers back with this person"?

There's plenty of folks I would hang out with who shouldn't run a damn thing.

Indeed. And many many more that I would not want to have nuclear codes.
