I should be such a buffoon.
Trump is a Meta, either that or there IS a god who watches over him. He’s Elon Musk-level Meta. I like to think I’m at that level but I’m not famous, and I can’t tell if fame accompanies Metas naturally, or fame just makes it so I hear about them? If the latter were the case, you’d think I’d hear about an occasional Meta-worthy person who isn’t famous? So far, nada.
A) How would you hear about them if they weren't famous? If this Meta situation is true, it stands to reason you would only hear about the ones whose abilities helped to make them famous. Surely there are less glamorous abilities
B) It is conceivable that the Meta abilities that make you famous might also be abilities that make you a villain. Clouding the minds of mortals with charm, et cetera.
C) The best super powers (Meta powers, I guess) also carry weaknesses. Perhaps Meta-charm carries a weakness... like excess of power in relation to competence.
Or, there is a God that watches over us who knows that Trump is the absolute best person to be in the position he occupies.
Or, there are no Metas, no Gods, and Trump is an unfortunate accident.
Just saying.
