I just talked to Dan on Twitter. He told me to say Hi.
Hi!
He's still a great guy.
Indeed, always a nice guy, he can't help it
He is a nice guy.
Sometimes you can like a nice guy, but lose respect for the nice guy.
I haven't lost respect for him

I can respect someone even if I disagree with their politics

I'm a Christian Soldier

The only ideological enemies I hate, are the Communists

Dan having TDS doesn't make me lose all respect for him, he's still a nice guy, I don't have to agree with his politics to like the guy

Those who let the culture wars ruin their respect for those who they disagree with are taking shit way too seriously, Dan was always a Secret Canadian, no big deal

I chirp him for it from time to time, but he's still cool in my books

Carlin did treat me well, I think I was one of his favorites, in term of elevating the conversation

He always treated with respect, so it's hard not to loves the guy, even if we disagree

We don't even disagree about that much, he's just a fence sitter

Yeah, he was a gracious host, so he's a Milquetoast Fence Sitting Jellyfish, no big deal

I chirp him for it, doesn't mean I don't loves the guy, especially when we disagree

I disagree with everybody, even myself from time to time, people who demand total agreement are zealot faggots

I've still never listened to a whole episode of anything Dan has done. Too slow and repetitive for me.
The forum was definitely the place to learn.
It took me a while to get to like Trex and yourself. I took a lot of shit off both of you, not always deserved.
Dan was never around much by the time I joined so I didn't really know him.
The only time he ever quoted me was right at the end when he said my post had made him laugh out loud for saying that I still hadn't heard one of his podcasts but loved the forum.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Trek basically trolled me unto the forum

But then he saw that I wasn't one of the Mewlers,

So we became partners in crime, tag teaming them upside the head
