Gun Lasers or No?

In terms my overall conops

I more focused on evacuating my wife to the safe area

Then counterattacking

And I don't want to kill them, I want to capture if possible

Then I can find out who they are, where they came from, and where their families live

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I kinda like the way it looks with the laser.
It's Judge Dredd-esque.

But beyond the aesthetics, which are clearly a matter of personal tastes, I think it's a more usable weapon for an untrained shooter with the laser.
The gun weighs 13.5 oz.
The barrel is 4.74 cm (1.87").
It's a tiny gun. Hitting anything more than 20' away takes practice. My wife is a realtor, so it's a good CC piece for her, but I think adding the laser will only help her accuracy. That's the main goal.

I've seen these revolvers before on tv and youtube without the hammers. Is that a style choice or is it a functional one? Does it allow you to pull the trigger faster?

Got little girls in the house so my primary concern is ending whatever threat exists as soon as possible.
If evacuation is that route, cool.
If not ... something gettin' shot.

Be easier on everybody if predators just stay outta my house tho.

I do not own any firearms, but if I did I'd probably go with a .38 for revolver.

On the cool factor for handguns, the cz-75 b has always looked awesome to me. I have no idea if it is reliable, but there is something about it that I dig. That or the Walther PPK.
