16-year Lagavulin removes the stress of a pandemic nicely.
Is your relationship with your gf surviving OK now you are spending more time working from home?
During times of danger, I lead and she follows. We’ve gotten by ok, just avoiding conflict in domestic matters. We’re both focused on the kids more than anything.
Ca'mon, dude, be romantic, rule that putty

"We've gotten by ok" is not marriage

And I’m not married. I live with my kids and their mother. It’s not ideal, but it’s best for them.

That definitely does not sound ideal

But whatever, my mistake, I thought you were married, nvm

Nah, just knocked up the wrong girl. I had it coming I suppose, was bound to happen sooner or later. Sadly, romance is much more difficult to find for most of us.

I like hearing about your setup tho. It’s extremely rare to hear positive stories about marriage any more.

You don't find it you make it, but if you ran into the wrong chick, then that is a dead end, you're right

I don't think you should lock yourself in to an unhappy situation because of it, but it's not my call

I defend & uphold the sanctity of marriage, but I am a lucky guy, no doubt

Tho I believe I was destined to be with my wife, because it really was love at first sight,

And yet just too many things aligned to make that work out effortlessly

mathematical improbability to the absurd

Mind you, I never take her for granted, I make the effort to make sure she knows how I feel, every single day

That being said, I did just get chased out of my own king sized bed because the dogs had taken up my side

When the two of them get stretched out, it's like trying to sleep with giraffes on your bed

Ar well, it's actually nice and warm out tonight, and getting warmer, so I guess I'll just nighthawk it

Play some Gran Turismo too from where I left off

Not saying I'm annoyed that she would rather sleep with the dogs tonight

But I will use it as an excuse to play my Metallica loud, heheheh

Likewise, I defend & uphold the sanctity of fatherhood. Above marriage, really, as I don’t think I’d ever trust a woman enough for it anyway. The kids are all that matters. My bed is warm enough with the blanket heater on.
