Well, I've given up. It started to annoy me.
Far too up its own arse and tedious with it. As I said, style over substance and slow as hell.
Shame to desecrate a classic like this. I'm actually pissed off with it and turned the TV off completely.
I'd rather watch another episode of Breaking Bad.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Too late now, I lost my temper with it. It was actually starting to depress me.Hastur wrote: ↑Sun Apr 12, 2020 2:17 pmKeep at it. The way the tie it together is fantastic. One of the best films of lately.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Sun Apr 12, 2020 2:11 pmWell, I've given up. It started to annoy me.

So dark and grey. I know they were trying to portray the dystopia of it but it brought me right down. I had to turn it off and put some shit-kicking music on to cheer me up.

Maybe I was in the wrong sort of mood to watch it but it was a real chore and I wasn't enjoying it at all.
You've got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away and know when to run.

The Maverick was a pretty Kenny Rogers kind of poker movie. Good times, not too deep.

Oooh, Jodie Foster. I've been in love with her since I was about 12.
Mel Gibson and James Garner too. I'll have to check it out.

In the movie it's Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster. It's based on an old TV show starring James Garner. He's in the movie as well but in n other role.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Sun Apr 12, 2020 4:05 pmDon't think I've seen that one.
