It's like with dogs, they don't just chase rocks laying on the ground, they like to chase rabbits darting in an out of bushes, easy to catch is boring, hard to catch is fun

Be the evasive rabbit, not the motionless rock, and they will chase you, not ignore you

You let them catch you now and then as a reward, but you don't stay caught for long to keep it fun, don't want to be too hard to catch, because the whole goal it to get caught, but keep her interest in trying to catch you at optimal levels
