We used to go on camping holidays to a place just outside St Tropez when we lived in Germany in the early 70's.
I have a strong memory of the marina full of Aquarivas. They are the ultimate in luxury speedboats and a good example of one from that era would probably cost you a hundred grand these days.

It's the Bytown Canal off the Ottawa River,

so otherwise known as the birthplace of Ottawa

The Canal meanders through the countryside before ending up downtown in the National Capital

In winter you skate on it, in summer you boat on it

So right now in the simulation it is taking me through the city itself

If you like slow TV, Swedish public broadcasting just started their coverage of the yearly moose migration. They put a lot of cameras at a bottleneck location and are broadcasting 24/7 until April 11.
