I'm a Deist, so miraculous intervention is a metaphor, my wife is an atheist who sasses me about it
None the less, I pray for the Lord to bless you and your Easter

30 minutes in, I was fantasizing about a military campaign.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

As a matter of fact, I peacefully annexed the empty half-lot behind my house a few years ago.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 4:32 pmDid you annex your neighbour's garden?SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 4:23 pmChicken schnitzel w/ mushroom spaetzle, and broccoli. Looked up the owner, and cold called to ask if I could garden on it. Turned out to be an old woman who didn't mind, so long as I kept the grass trimmed. Thus, my suburban farming career was born. 2 years later, she was going into the nursing home, and had her kids give it to me, with a quit-claim.
Fuck yeah.

I am certainly going to have Easter celebration all weekend
In honor of the Fisherman
Much food, wine & love
and I will pray while my wife frowns on but none the less tolerates it, sort of
I simply fall to my knees in the presence of the Lord under the church of the big sky
Glorious sunset, Heavenly moonrise, stargazing towards the red giant Antares in Scorpio

It was definitely a slow creep at first. I only tilled up a small portion at first, testing for resitance. Then slowly spread my domain across the lot, each year.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 4:52 pmEveryone needs a little Lebensraum.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 4:42 pmAs a matter of fact, I peacefully annexed the empty half-lot behind my house a few years ago.

Last summer, I planted 2 apple trees, and low-fenced the entire thing, to dispose of pesky interlopers.

There was a forced relocation of the local opossums as well. They were lured into cages and transported out o the countryside.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 5:08 pmStrength through joy.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 5:00 pmIt was definitely a slow creep at first. There is also a groundhog resistance cell embedded underneath my shed. Efforts have been made at extermination, yet resistance continues.
