Its gotten a shitload of money pumped into it from all over the world with some prime real estate. When you were a kid was it like that?Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2020 8:10 amMy grandparents and aunt lived in Los Angeles, we just visitedheydaralon wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2020 8:08 amI don't really get your childhood man. You have said that you lived in California for part of it, but grew up in the hood of 6ix. I remember you mentioning going to NYC with your father back in the day. Were you born in the states? Did your parents split and your dad take you to Canada? I remember you mentioning you joined the Canadian Armed Forces right out of high school so I guess you were living there by then.
But me and and my Da loved Cali so much, we went twice a year
I was born in Vancouver, my father was also born in Vancouver, his father was born in Hamilton
His father however, moved the family to Los Angeles in the 50s, they call became Americans
Then my Da moved back to Vancouver, in pursuit of my Canadian moms
Before that it was a paradise for everybody
I don't remember it tho,
because when I was born my parents moved to Nova Scotia to be close to my moms family
So in my mind I was born in Nova Scotia because those are my earliest memories
