We must have needed even more central planning to have secured the respirators and ventilators.
We had all the Central planning we could muster, but now we are short of respirators and ventilators.
It's because we didn't give our fair share.
Why you shunning NYC?

For such an internationalist city, NY's residents sure do come off as very insular. They've been clogging the airwaves, begging for masks and everything else. Its extra funny to me that the blue checks who have been experts on what to do and are awful eager to disense advice to us regular folks have been fleeing the city like rats off a sinking ship.

The UK is fucked because, like Trump, their PM sacrificed British lives for markets in a secretive -- and retarded as fuck -- herd immunity plan.
Yeah, because kicking the can down the road and destroying the economy on top of it is a great plan. You do realize that South Korea didn't have draconian economic crackdowns and handled this better than anyone thus far, right? Lets ignore those who handled it the best like South Korea, and instead emulate those who handled it the worst like China and Italy instead. Great plan, Bob.
Dude, take a gander at places like Italy. Once you let it rampage through your population, you are getting Black Death numbers you fucking loon. The economy is fucking dead no matter what. Sacrificing millions of people isn't going to change that reality.

So do like Italy does even though they fucked up the most aside from China.

Great plan, Bob. What could possibly go wrong with emulating the biggest fuck ups instead of the smallest fuck ups?

Do like Italy did when they reversed course and halted the slaughter.

The isolation measures are working and the deaths are falling.

When you do the market-worship strategy you get over 50% fatalities in closed cases. It's fucking stupid and if you can't even understand math enough to grasp it, then you shouldn't have a voice in how your country responds to this.

They are just now starting to drop, currently at 42% fatality rate in closed cases. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavir ... try/italy/ Those are Black Death numbers. Don't do that.

The "let everybody get sick" plan is so retarded that I swear to fuck we should just put people who espouse it in FEMA camps.

Italy merely kicked the can down the road, it didn't stop the death it delayed them, all while they still ate a ton of deaths in the short run and destroyed the economy on top of it. Literally the worst of all worlds except those Chicom Biolab Chernobyl Faggots, who managed to fuck up even worse. Yet these are the models you want to emulate, because you're knee jerk pro-government SIFCLF.

SK was the first to stop travelers from China and apply local quarantines, lockdowns and social distancing. The reason they haven't had to use draconian measures is that they have a population prepared to listen to advice and do what they are told.
It's not even that they are a more docile populous, it's because they were hit hard by SARS 1 and remembered the lessons learned. More geography than social differences.
They were also better prepared in terms of equipment which has helped contain and track the spread.
All achieved through central planning.
There's little difference between Italy and the rest of Europe or even the US in terms of procedures, healthcare standards or preparation. They just suffered because they had less time to prepare.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.
