It's not a "hang up" I just like what I like

Star Trek doesn't hold my interest, my eyes glaze over
That's because you haven't watched DS9. The first season isn't that good, aside from a few episodes here and there.
And I never will, it's been decades and I still have zero interest in DS9
Whatever. If you ever watch it, you'll say Capps was right, unless literally all you care about is production value.

Never will, quite sure. If I haven't watched one minute of something after twenty years, it's in the ash heap then

Yet you'll watch the new crappier Star Trek because production values are all. Whatever, your loss.

I found Dunkirk to be boring

Nice scene of the ship sinking, a couple nice scenes with the Spitfire, otherwise pretty dull

I actually preferred the Winston Churchill movie with Gary Oldman, cause Gary Oldman

Some people watch it to make fun of the liberal agenda that doesn't even work in the show.

It's less gay than the show you watched that you said was servicable, so it's more of a loss than not having watched Discovery.

Indeed. DS9 does just that, that's why it's the best Star Trek, among many other reasons. It's not even a competition, DS9 laps all other Star Trek series several times over.
