Yeah me too sometimes, unfortunately, I don't want to pay for cable, so I can't really do that anymore.
I like to keep a few things around from the olden days, just for the comfort of it in this brave new world
I'd keep it around too, if I wasn't quite as poor.
Indeed, it's a premium, although I do get my money's worth, Latchkey Kid Baby Sitter is worth it to me

I mean even when I first watched Breaking Bad, I still figured out most the major beats the plot was going to hit, often long before it did so. Breaking Bad's greatness wasn't in the subversion of expectation like with The Sopranos, it was in the leaning into viewers expectations but executing it way better than the audience could imagine. Breaking Bad and The Sopranos are so great for totally opposite reasons, and The Wire is sort of the middle ground between those two approaches.

El Camino like Breaking Bad leans into my expectations but executed it better than I imagined, though not on the same level as the final three episodes of Breaking Bad obviously.

Those who didn't like El Camino tended to have expectations that it would be some great stand alone movie that should have won an Oscar or something, when that was never a realistic expectation. So if you keep your expectations in check, you'll enjoy it a lot more than if you expect to be something it never could have been.

Now, in this brave new world, I have both cable and the internet, and the TV of the Future with a Mac Pro

It's all relative, this set up is very futuristic by my standards

I'm waiting on you to provide some of your favorites shows, genre preferences and tastes, so I can better tailor a recommendation for you. I mean I could give you a generic list, but if you want me to optimize my recommendations for you specifically, you'll trust my future recommendations more, and you'll end up watching more high quality tv.

As long as you've seen Breaking Bad, The Sopranos and The Wire, personal preference has a much bigger impact on my recommendations to folks.

Sometimes I just watch bits of things in the surf

For instance Quantum of Solace is a bad Bond film, but all Bond films have good bits

So when there is a good bit, I have the amazing by my standards sound bar with home theater big screen

So I just crank up the sound for this scene, then I turn it back down and go back to surfing
