Wild turkeys were spotted in town today. I don’t think that’s happened in a very long time. This is a great little reset for nature.
I saw a wild Turkey a few blocks from my apartment a while back, just chillin in some guys yard, not coronavirus related, was right around thanksgiving too.

I said to the Turkey, bad timing bro, it ignored me.

I'm watching Monty Don garden shows

Gonna go hard on the gardening this year, might as well spruce it up in the Staycation

Justin Trudeau refuses to give Canadians the bad news, the feds won't release their COVID projections

Doug Ford is releasing Ontario's projections tomorrow, no matter how stark they are

It's like Ontario is a separate country from Canada already

Premiere Ford warns that the projections could be "sobering"

So sounds like they are going to come clean about being totally unprepared and we are about to get blitzkrieged

This is why I prefer just going straight to DEFCON 1, whatever the bad news, we are already at maximum effort

Already fully hunkered down, already paced for a long war, already provisioned for months as necessary

Already in the groove, it's already our new normal and has been for weeks

They've started panic building prefab COVID wards in the parking lots of hospitals in Toronto

In Vancouver they are converting the sports arenas to house COVID wards

Not feeling like a false alarm right now, just have to take it week to week

The stories are starting to come in about the totally unprepared getting blitzkrieged by the chaos

The half of all Canadians who were $200.00 away from bankruptcy are now bankrupt

Parents with multiple kids and a mortgage, no savings, no income, no way to pay the bills, deep in debt

This is why we are economic preppers first, paramilitary prepping is more like my hobby

Speaking off military prepping, don't forget to take good care of your teeth right now

Can't go to the dentist if you get a toothache, toothache in the field is hella demoralizing

Essential worker = forlorn hope
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I might even have it already, not sure who has it, but the last shift I worked, several folks in the transitional hall had cold like symptoms when I started my shift, and I had to go into some of their rooms to give them pain meds. So it's possible that the one who tested positive was one of them.

You're young enough to ride it out, the main thing is not infecting your kin
