Has the group talked about the affects of Bat Aids on the illicit drug supply and the availability of prescription opioids yet ?

I'm hearing the supplies of these drugs are running low. Expect people to start losing their shit soon.
If that happens, security level for folks needs to go up.
That's why I ran the loiterer off around my property

If someone can't explain what they are doing parked on the street, they are doing drugs

He didn't look strung out, but that doesn't matter

Main thing is to make it clear that the area is being watched, yes, even in the middle of the night

Still pretty quiet around here tho, that was the only incident and it wasn't even really an incident

Yeah, I've upped my security posture as well.

This shit is going to happen. People have been locked down for near 2 weeks. They've just found out they have another month of this. Regardless of whether they have their favorite intoxicants or not. That alone will drive some people to the verge.

Add in getting short on your favorite drugs, and shit can get Western fast.

In Portland, OR a battle buddy reports they just had their first Home Invasion in a suburb.

I go out every night, close the outer gate 200 yards from the house, do a quick recon of the area and check stuff out.

Hang on boys. We may get a Boogaloo yet

Drug Prices on the Rise

https://nypost.com/2020/03/28/coronavir ... -fentanyl/
The cartels are having a lot of difficulty producing drugs right now, and when the supply is low the price always goes up,” a US federal law enforcement source told The Post. “China has pretty much stopped production on the chemicals they need to do business.”

The pandemic has led to a shortage of workers at labs in China which produces more than 80 percent of precursor chemicals such as benzylfentanyl, norfentanyl and 4-anilinopiperidine used by the cartels to manufacture synthetic opioids such as black market heroin made in clandestine labs and fentanyl.
The bulk of the meth and synthetic opioids clandestinely produced in Mexico is controlled by the Sinaloa Cartel and its rival, the Jalisco New Generation Cartel

My favorite drugs are all delivered to my door by the government, so no worries

It's like a ghost town around here anyways

That's why a noticed the guy pull up and park

That was only vehicle driving on this street at night, in days

There's no cover, anything moving attracts attention, cause it's the only thing moving

So not actually a great time to commit crimes around here

Sounds like you have a good location.

My goal is to not be invinceable, because youre not. But be a tougher nut to crack than 99% of the rest.

Make the risk is not worth the reward.

I'm just watching the bug

The bug is the primary threat

You can't see it coming, you cant shoot it

But we have a 12,500 sq ft compound in essence, so we're pretty snug in here

I am running strict military grade decontamination drills, so the compound is like a bio fortress

I treat everything outside the wire as the hot zone with community spread

That being said, this county and the next county over have a total of 45 cases, 3 in hospital, 1 in critical

So it doesn't feel like the wave has arrived here yet

Tactically, I'm at a disadvantage because I live in multi unit building. Basically, we share a front and back yard and have a few parking spaces in the front for each unit. Each unit is two stories, but we all have a front and back door into the front and back yard. Everyone else in my building is over 50 except for my family. My issue is that I can only secure my front door. Luckily the bedrooms are upstairs, and I have a line of sight on the door from the top of the stairs.

Supplies haven't been an issue. I'm still working and getting paid. We just got a crate of meat delivered yesterday, so our freezer is packed and I'm doing a grocery pickup after work today. Still, I feel a little exposed should the local ne'r-do-wells have a random chimp moment. I feel as though I could take out enough vandals and procure their weapons and ammunition should the looting start. The good thing is I'm out in the middle of no-where, next to a college town. That is the prime-looting area, I figure.
