Yeah, that was one of Dan's biggest faults, too agreeable in the face of disagreement. When me and you are on the opposite side of a disagreement, it emboldens me because it usually means I am debating a strong position that I disagree with and can refine my approach, I always tried to see it as an opportunity for iron to sharpen iron, and took my defeats in stride, instead of holding a grudge and refusing to learn from my mistakes.

It's easy to clown on the weak, to best the strongest is where it's at.

I'm not so sure that a Caesar appearing would be so bad. It would free the prole from the burden of having to be concerned with policy. Politician's wouldn't be falling over themselves to pander to the masses. Doesn't sound so bad. I'm not sure being "woke" to politics has been a net benefit in my life, anyway.

He would have been more of threat, if he wasn't so prone to obsequious agreement. If he hadn't been so damn agreeable, he'd have gotten better training and been more formidable.
