I just see it when scrolling through Google News. It's irritating. It serves no purpose other than to stoke panic. The media's coverage of this entire situation has been disingenuous.
One of the guys from my wife's company who is confirmed COVID in the hospital is middle aged, but very fit

His wife says he had a cough in the morning, when he woke up in the night he couldn't breathe

That is de facto biological weapons effects

When it comes to BW, better the public be more scared than less
I guess. I think the government wants people to self-isolate themselves to the point that the government doesn't have to crack down like they did in Wuhan. That isn't going to happen.

They say masks won't work, now masks work. They say packages are safe, now packages aren't safe. They say not to hoard groceries and supplies, but you can't go grocery shopping without getting exposed, but don't hoard groceries for more than a week's worth, blah blah blah. So sick of it. Just put the boot down and stop pussyfooting around. I don't mean arresting the occasional jackoff who isn't following the rules. Just go ahead and bring martial law. This slow ramp up to that eventuality is a giant waste of time. Just go ahead and throw the Constitution in the trash.

I'm frustrated with this bull crap.
Masks work at the strategic level

They don't protect the individual, they reduce the spread if everybody is wearing them

Because I know that the threat is not gas, but rather spray, I know I don't need N95,

so I gave my N95's to the cops

The defensive mask is just a spray guard, so any kind of face covering will work

I know. I just don't know why the government and the media can't get their crap together and at least have some sort of consistent reporting on anything having to do with this stuff. Meanwhile, I'm out in the hot zone, an expendable asset.

I'm just frustrated. I have to bite and scratch to not just be discouraged constantly, and it's not working today.

I'm just frustrated.
This is what war is like

Not an overseas military adventure

A real war

The fog of war is in effect, the bug is inside their decision making cycle

What happens then is that you have to go to maximum effort to try to get out in front of it again

You can't let yourself get frustrated, this is where you have to be mentally tough, as far as operations go

Mentally tough on operations is all about staying loose, living in the now, being jacked up for it

Don't focus on the big picture, that's a General's job

In the ranks, the job is to be relaxed in the saddle so you can operate indefinitely in the field as necessary

This is what Embrace The Suck means.

Like when I got to battleschool, it was Shock & Awe

I thought I knew what the army was going to be like, but I had no idea how tough it was going to be

So, you sit there some nights thinking I can't keep this up for years to come

But then you reach a point where you start to lean into it, you stop resisting and start operating

And that's when it gets fun, and then you fall in love with it, and then you get addicted to it

The military is what made me into a hedonist

You deny yourself, you accept privation, you learn to be the Happy Warrior

Then life is all the sweeter, all the little things are sweeter

Nine days, no sleep, one canteen of water and one ration a day, 120 lbs on your back, in the driving rain

After which, clean sheets, hot showers & warm pussy, are like heroin

Work is bullshit, jobs are jails, unemployment for everybody, not just the rich

War is the absence of work, war is just non stop fun, for the Operators
