Take the Money and Run, Jet Airliner, Rock'n Me, and Jungle Love are good Steve Miller road songs, and Serenade under the right circumstances.

As for CCR, what isn't great for the road. Lodi, Fortunate Son, Proud Mary, Up Around the Bend, Bad Moon, Lookin' Out My Backdoor... shit CCR needs their own top 10 best rock songs for the road.
