Just tell her that when you go out, you're social distancing. If she gets mad at you taking a walk while staying away from people, then there is no reasoning with her.
There is plenty of reasoning with her...
It's just as much my stuff as hers.

This is my sons grade 12 school year. He is losing out on his grad year.
He can't see his girlfriend or his best friend.
That just freaks me out.
I would have rebelled... and I would have never asked him to shut it down... by my wife feels otherwise.

He isn't rebelling... he's not really bent out of shape by this at all.
He abides by rules much better than I ever did.
These kids can socialize online just as well as in person.

Sounds like you'll make it then, just stay frosty. If you're feeling claustrophobic, go for a walk.

Also I would advise both of you to have your own personal time away from each other, because too much togetherness when you feel like your trapped in the same space is going to lead to issues. Though I assume you're already doing that, because I'm guessing you are well aware.

Sounds like Smitty and Mrs. Smitty have a pretty good balance going for now. That's the sweet spot to be aiming for.

Who needs social distancing when you've got distance socialising.
We've got a birthday party going here.
Wait till the internet goes down, then you'll see some crazy...

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Lead to issues...

LOL

We are well beyond lead to issues.

And truth is we have been through much worse than this...

We have crested the wave... relatively smooth sailing ahead.

My point is that this kind of thing brings out different fears in everyone...

Fears of Tyranny

Fears of Death

Fears of Abandonment

Fears of Harm to the vulnerable

Fears of Loss of Wealth/Material possessions/Status

And then the fears jockey with one another... tearing the society apart...

Or coalesce into a community joining together to fight an invader...

I guess we'll see how it all plays out.

I just conducted an informal Facebook survey...

And it looks like I will be delivering the news of house arrest for the foreseeable future... maybe for as long as 6 months...

Expect rage and tears in the forecast.

Dateline Ohio:
People are a little restless, but taking the bug seriously, with calm resolve. I used to belittle the culture here, but I’ve never been more impressed with the silent strength under fire. Social norms are still being observed, extra politeness, Facebook groups are formed to help locals find resources (what’s out of stock etc), face masks are pouring out of farmhouses.

Proud to be a Midwestern American, honestly.

I don't feel any fear, but that's because I follow the safety precautions for a WMD biological attack
