Dude, I love the way you transitioned right into survival mode. No dogmatic response, just acceptance. Where R U on Brexit nowadays?

Dont know if you’re talking to me, but I was just wondering about you. Thought you might have gotten yourself trapped in a third-world shithole.

Well, you have to just keep calm and carry on in times of war.
I backed over my dogma with my karma years ago. Practical pragmatism replaced it.

The Coronapocalypse has scuppered the trade negotiations and meant that a no deal Brexit at the end of the year is more likely. The fall of the pound was blamed on this but it seems to have rallied.
Chances are it will just be delayed again.
I still think it's a bad idea but compared to a 30s style depression it's a bit meh now.
Boris seems to be handling himself ok so far. Better than the flip flopping Orange man.

There seems to be a growing global potato shortage.

I've got about 15 lbs, I'm holding 5 back for seed spuds.

We're all Irish now...

Butter is the thing I didn't buy enough of. Hopefully the milkman can deliver it.

Fats and oils are a typical thing folks forget on building stockpiles

I've got plenty of extra virgin olive oil from my mate's olive grove in Portugal
and a fair bit of vegetable oil but only 1 1/2lbs of butter.
The milkman is still delivering though so even if he doesn't have butter I could have a go at making my own.

You have wheat/flour to trade, you will be able to keep supplied with butter.
