Blackhat is only 'shit' if you are comparing it to Heat, it's not shit compared to the average action flickheydaralon wrote: ↑Sat Mar 07, 2020 1:21 pmThat hacker movie he did recently was shit, but other than that the guy has hit it out of the park with every film he made in the last 25 years.

It was shot well, and had some cool fight scenes. But the plot was really stupid, and it did all that stupid ass zomg hackers tropes that are so commonly used in hollywood. The Chris Hemsworth character was not believable, not like Deniro or Kilmer or Pacino.Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 07, 2020 2:09 pmBlackhat is only 'shit' if you are comparing it to Heat, it's not shit compared to the average action flickheydaralon wrote: ↑Sat Mar 07, 2020 1:21 pmThat hacker movie he did recently was shit, but other than that the guy has hit it out of the park with every film he made in the last 25 years.

So long as I get my Michael Mann fight scenes, I get my Netflix price worth, it's not like I go to the theaters anymoreheydaralon wrote: ↑Sat Mar 07, 2020 2:12 pmIt was shot well, and had some cool fight scenes. Blackhat was just on tv, I've been rewatching bits of it in the background
It definitely does not work, Hemsworth not being believable is at the core of it
The love interest is also meh, you don't really care what happens to them
But again, the action movie after is Mr & Mrs Smith with Bradjolina, which is unwatchablty stupid and boring
So it's all relative
