In other news, it looks like the Pope has it.

The Vatican has not specified the nature of the pope’s illness, but he was seen coughing and blowing his nose during Ash Wednesday Mass.
Meanwhile, 400 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Italy, and 12 people have died. Most of the cases have been reported in northern Italy.
Three cases were reported in Rome, but each person has already recovered.
During a General Audience in St. Peter’s Square on Ash Wednesday, the pope expressed his support for coronavirus sufferers.
“I wish, again, to express my closeness to those who are ill with coronavirus and to health care workers who are caring for them,” he said, according to Vatican News.
He might want to get right with God soon.

He showed up and got treated, regardless of his ability to pay.
People in China get screwed over paying for health care a lot like we do here in US.
Point being: who in the holy fuck is going to go 3 grand in medical debt just because they have a fever?? Our barely functional health insurance system ensures we won’t catch community spread anywhere until it is much too late. In Europe, people get symptoms and call the healthcare system to find out what to do. Nobody gets slammed with a three thousand dollar penalty for trying to prevent the spread of a deadly disease there. Our system is on par with the third world in this respect.
I don't disagree that our healthcare system has some major structural flaws.
Regarding calling in for advice, I do this all the time. Not sure how it would work with COVID-19, but I can call my PCP and get a prescription without ever going into the clinic in some cases.

If you can get PCP from your healthcare provider, I am curious as to what pre existing condition you have? I thought PCP made you lose your memory and punch through cop car windows...

Yeah, I cut down on my weed consumption and cough a lot less these days. Reduced tolerance ftw, high as giraffe pussy.
I've not had any since Christmas and I've kicked my energy drink habit too.
I'm so clean now I might even apply for the job if the Pope snuffs it.
Glad I never acquired an energy drink habit, that shit can get pretty bad.
4am starts doing film and TV catering doesn't help. I've never drunk coffee so I had zero tolerance to caffeine. I had a couple of days of serious headaches when I went cold turkey.
I'm back to water and peppermint tea only now.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Caffeine withdrawal is way worse than marijuana withdrawal, that's for sure.

Both are far bigger health crisis than that Coronavirus. I think you could make a case that Coronavirus panic is bad for the environment too. All these needless posts making alarmist claims about false stats and death rates are consuming electricity which releases CO2. I hope Martin puts a stop to these threads.

What marijuana withdrawals?

Massive depopulation and the bankruptcy of airlines are a plus though, so swings and roundabouts.
Old people have the heating turned up highest too so it's killing the right people.
I read on 4 chan that it was developed in a lab' by Greta Thunberg.

A little bit of anxiety, ever so slightly labored breathing, nothing major, most people don't even get it, it's not even chemical dependency so much as a habitual one. It's a slight annoyance at best. I don't really get it anymore because I don't smoke enough.

It's never bothered me, I have had friends say they have trouble sleeping without it but I think they are probably just insomniacs anyway.
I don't even get cravings, the only difference is that I remember my dreams more often when I don't smoke it.
