"why does Trump's travel ban not include Egypt or Saudi Arabia when these countries supplied the men who planned and executed the attacks on 9/11?" The only response so far has been some vague statement that other countries may be included in the future. It's fairly obvious that self interest concerning investments in those countries has exempted them rather than any valid security reasons.
Well I agree with you Monte, Trumps halt on immigration and travel from these countries didn't go far enough. Holding the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia accountable is especially long over due. I think the Trump Admin did it out of ease, basically reinstating a similar policy to what BHO enacted out of expediency. We've gone easy one Saudi Arabia since FDR welcomed King Ibn Saud and his goats on the USS Quincy.
My first inkling of any support for T was when he tweeted to a Saudi Prince, calling him "dopey", and saying that the prince uses "daddy's money" to influence US politics, and "not gonna happen when I'm President!"
Just now: Trump said he is directing the DOJ and Homeland Security “to undertake all necessary and lawful actions to break the back of the criminal cartels that have spread across our nation and destroying the blood of our youth.”
Whoa.
I must live in a nice area. This nation he is referring to sounds dystopian.
The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has unanumously ruled for the U.S. to remain open to refugees and visa holders from seven Muslim-majority countries while the Trump administration fights to reinstate a travel ban in the name of national security.
The San Francisco-based appeals court on Thursday denied the government’s request to close the doors after days of public debate over President Donald Trump’s attacks on the judicial system and a rush of fearful immigrants. The ruling increases the likelihood that the administration will ask the Supreme Court to step into a case that’s the biggest test of Trump’s executive power yet.
The appeals court refused to reinstate Trump’s order after a Seattle judge halted enforcement while courts decide whether it’s constitutional.

According to the most current count, the Ninth Circuit has the highest percentage (68%) of sitting judges appointed by Democratic presidents. Republicans argue the court is biased because of its relatively high proportion of Democratic appointees.[6]
However, through 2008, the Ninth Circuit Court's rulings reviewed by the Supreme Court were affirmed only 20% of the time and reversed and or vacated 80% of the time; a rate substantially higher than the median reversal rate of 68.29% for the same period.[9]
tl:dr 9th court is full of libshits and gets BTFO by the supreme court 80% of the time;
