Anyone can show up to an ER and get treated, regardless of their ability to pay.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 9:09 amAt least in China poor people could actually show up and get seen by doctors in emergency rooms and urgent care clinics. We don't even have that.

People in China get screwed over paying for health care a lot like we do here in US.

If you hate America so much why not move to China? I've heard their healthcare is better than ours. At least if you caught Corona there you'd go to the hospital. Plus its just a nice place to live. Hell, I might move there myself.

Speaker and I are buying tickets to China (they are dirt cheap atm) and gonna be kicking it in Wuhan. A lot of people confuse it with Wubei which is the guy from the wire season 1 who was with little man when he shot Kima. Hubei in Mandarin means "Chinese geographical place that is in the country."

Yeah StA, move to China if their health care is so much better and so much more prepared to handle Coronovirus.heydaralon wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 11:44 amIf you hate America so much why not move to China? Point being: who in the holy fuck is going to go 3 grand in medical debt just because they have a fever?? Our barely functional health insurance system ensures we won’t catch community spread anywhere until it is much too late. In Europe, people get symptoms and call the healthcare system to find out what to do. Nobody gets slammed with a three thousand dollar penalty for trying to prevent the spread of a deadly disease there. Our system is on par with the third world in this respect.PartyOf5 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 11:42 amHe showed up and got treated, regardless of his ability to pay.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 9:51 amWrong.

The problem with ideological thinking is this: the ideological man would rather dismiss facts directly presented if such facts damage the basis of the ideology. Market conservatives who oppose a first world health insurance system exhibit the same kinds of dismissive attitudes to inconvenient facts that people like Monte exhibit when confronted by facts that multiculturalism causes massive dysfunction and social/criminal problems.

If there is really a global virus pandemic, let me ask you all something:
Why is it that it is cold outside right now?
For years I've been hearing about viruses, yet last week it was really cold outside and windy. If there was really a pandemic, shouldn't it be warmer?
I always ask that and suddenly.... *crickets*
dumbfucks
