Iraq bans travelers from these 7 countries because of coronavirus fears
From CNN’s Mostafa Salem in Abu Dhabi and Aqeel Najim in Baghdad
The Iraqi government extended a travel ban as fears of a coronavirus outbreak rise, the government said in a statement today.
Travelers from five other new countries were included in the ban, which already included Iran and China. The new countries are:
Thailand
South Korea
Japan
Italy
Singapore
The government said in a statement: "The committee decided to extend the suspension of the direct or indirect entry of foreign arrivals from China and Iran until further notice, and [also] stop the direct or indirect entry of foreign arrivals from Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Italy and Singapore."
That moment when you realize a dysfunctional third world state is more on the ball than your middle-management overlords.

Using https://covid19info.live/ to keep track of actual numbers seems like a better idea than giving panic-monkey types clicks. Just look at the numbers yourself. The hacks want you terrified so you'll come to their oracle.

Well, now our corporate propagandists in the media seemed to have greenlighted talking about the pandemic, but the new narrative is that it is somehow an inevitable pandemic that will be with us forever, like influenza. I have seen several articles that literally state most of the human population will probably be infected, but don’t worry because most people will survive.
Most people survived the Spanish Flu pandemic. Most people survived the Black Death. To say the disease should be of little concern because mist people will survive is absolute propaganda and narrative management.
If most of the human population is infected, we will suffer the worst pandemic in centuries based on the current fatality rate. They lyingly avoid stating the mathematical outcome of 60-70% of the global population being infected. That is hundreds of millions of fatalities.
As it is, the global economy is about to be disrupted to such a point that we won’t be able to manufacture much of anything. Even the products we manufacture domestically depend on components manufactured in China. The supply disruption we already experienced is set to bankrupt half of Chinese firms in six months without massive cash bailouts. Our own companies will run out of inputs in a few more months, with no ships coming with resupply currently.

Pretty sure Iraq doesn't have any domestic airlines, so they should just shut down all non-essential air travel. Nobody in or out except cargo planes and maybe a very few people approved on a case-by-case basis by govt (diplomats, doctors, etc).Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 6:45 am8:31 a.m. ET, February 25, 2020

Of course that's what should be happening worldwide by now, except that it would crush the air travel industry into bankruptcy, and govts and the WHO are more concerned with globalism than in human lives.

Crushing the air travel industry isn't necessarily a bad thing.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I was watching the Iranian health minister last night during their press briefing, mopping his brow sweating profusely while saying "everything is fine, nothing to worry about, we have it under control"...
...and today it turns out he's infected with the coronavirus.
