Given the number of shots that the other candidates took at him, because he’s rich... he may just be there as a straw man to rally support for the dems in general. That would be some deep game, actually...

How is taking shots for being rich from Democrats, help the Democrats? It doesn't, it makes the Democrats less supportable, not more.

He could have done just that for decades. He could've have done that now and just blew things up. He wants to win, he is not going to spend that kind of money just to be a spoiler. If he wants to be on the general election ballot in all 50 states he should've run as an independent and spend the money running against everybody then? As of now he is subject to sore loser laws. He won't be allowed on the ballot in some states. All that talent and infrastructure he has been building up, collapses many of these guys stake their reputations as being political hacks.

I guess I don't understand his gameplan. There is no way he is going to get enough votes to trigger a brokered convention, and he is starving the other candidates out of the race, making a brokered convention that much harder.

I don't think he does prevent a brokered convention. I guess the thinking was he was going to fly to the rescue, carpet bombing money along the way either winning outright or going with a number of delegates from big blue states to take it to a convention. Right now, that thinking doesn't look too good. But he is pot committed.

Why not organize a super PAC to back Warren, who actually did split Bernie's votes, and then enter the race to replace Biden? I don't understand the logic behind fucking over Warren and then having to come at least close to winning half the electorate.

I still don't think even that would win, but it's the only viable shot I could have seen, though admittedly I am not experienced at campaigning. I can tell you from experience on the ground most democrats are for Bernie and have been for some time. The media was just creating a fake narrative that whole time.

61% of Americans don't agree, as things have gotten better for them then it was three years after giving the nuclear codes to a reality star. If the economy isn't in the tank come election day, socialism ain't going to sell.
