Because of the fires in Australia and now the Coronavirus, the company has cancelled the meetings.

They're going to do it all by Telepresence instead.

Mind you, I hate flying as it is, and if on top of that we got caught in some sort of Corona quarantine?

That would not be worth it.
This Extinction Rebellion virus hoax is working really well.
I was honestly dreading being stuck on a plane for 19 hours, so in some ways it's a reprieve.

Specially with it being stuck on a plane for (at least) 19 hours, twice in two weeks.

I mean, I could drive all the way to Florida in 19 hours.
Australia isn't going anywhere, you can go when the virus blows itself out.
Besides, there must be some really beautiful places in Canada that you've not seen yet.
Traveling by land is so much better anyway, road trips rule. My favourite was a month long 4000 mile trip to Portugal and back taking in crystal caves in France, a trip over the Pyrenees through the Basque region, the famous port cellars in Oporto, a drive through the ''Spaghetti western'' part of Spain, Barcelona, a return trip over the Pyrenees via Andorra and the highest open all year mountain pass.
All with a couple of canoes on the roof rack of my motorhome, stopping when and where we chose.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I've seen enough of it to know how it goes, my backyard is about as good as it gets

Canada is mostly a wasteland.

Nolan Foote and a 1st round pick for Blake Coleman ?

That is a brutal trade, Tampa has gone full retard.

And they've set the market rate now, which is massive overpay, so Dubas might as well just keep his powder dry

I don't know, I've never been. I've always imagined it as a beautiful country of unspoiled forests, lakes and mountains.

Holy fuck, that is full retard. Sakic better not make a deal at the deadline given that market.

It's ten million square kilometers, most of that is a frozen or bug infested hell hole.

It's like trading Sandin and a 1st round pick for Blake Coleman, imagine the outcry

I don't understand how Tampa talked themselves into this one, it's like a Harold Ballard trade.

Loafs should stand pat at the deadline, I think they should sell, but that's probably not realistic, but they should not go big at the deadline when they actually suck, and will be playing one of Tampa, Boston, Washington or Pittsburgh in the first round, very low percentage chance of getting past any of them, so don't throw the future assets away for magic beans this year.
